My name is Domonique Glover. This is my fourth year teaching at Granville T. Woods School P.S. 335. I have taught fifth grade for two years, fourth grade for one year and this will be my third year teaching the fifth grade.
I grew up in New York City and attended New York City Public Schools. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the SUNY Cortland, where I studied Childhood Education with a minor in History. After completion of my undergraduate degree, I stayed at Cortland and continued my my education. I earned a Master's Degree of Science in Literacy Education from SUNY Cortland. Upon completion of my Master's Degree, I decided to return to New York City to work in the same public school system that I attended. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, shopping and reading. One of my favorite hobbies is traveling. I have visited many different states, countries and islands. Some of the places I have visited include Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas. Through traveling I have been able to experience many wonderful events such as snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and visiting historic museums and sites. I have included some photos from my travels.
